Ridiculous notion that somehow teams entering D should be worse than C or B teams. Provincials categories are based off of population and in theory that should give B and C stronger teams than D, but it’s often not the case. Last year D was a prime example. And on a side note some of us have no interest in who wins A. It’s an elite division for sure, but it’s a division of who buys the best players. Not impressed..

Kenaston is too good and unstopable only 2 teams could beat them the u25 Ukrainian team and the Canadian olympic woman’s team

And even so, why can they not ride the train while it lasts. They will be an average team or less in a few years, like every other team that runs out of locals or money.

Populations don't mean anything any more. Everything in senior hockey boils down to $$$$$$. Provincial A- teams over $3,000/ game budget B- teams$2,000 -2,999/ game
C- Teams $1,000 - $1,999/ game
D- Teams under a $1,000/ game Everyone can get whoever and as many imports as they want but can only spend that much. Teams that are spending no dollars can't compete with teams paying $7-800 a piece for a couple players, $4-500 a piece for a few others and then a half a dozen more getting $175/ game.If your team thinks it wants to compete in a higher division your welcome to it. It's sad that the best canola crop in the country dictates who has the best team!
