Every town in the province would have a team then if was that easy! There is a reason the pmhl was formed.( for actual senoir hockey ). Nobody can even join the Q cause it’s that good with that much money being paid out. Should’ve be that hard tho realistically. Take a look at balcarres roster l don’t think one guy is from balcarres and thats the reason they got 2 people is the stands for all their reg season games . Not like balcares is “fundraising” either cmon. Gubba getting on his knees for money. Same with lumsden For what exactly? A trophy? Ego? Doesn't make sense for what actual senior hockey is.

This league is going to die because of the top heaviness I get it to an extent but jeez. Lower team cant compete with the high payrolls. Ex- Raymore takes 3 of raymore best players just because money. This previous year lumdsen stole holbty from Balgonie. Oh i wonder why MONEY. What I’ve heard the bottoms these aren’t that that happy. But is what it is

see what happen between Balcarres and lumsden? All we are waiting on for the QV is Lumsden. Rest of the rosters are up and legal. Gonna be an exciting year! Balcarres is def the front runner
Walters still living out in Regina beach? Dylan McCabe must of left the city and moved in with Byrons uncle in B-Say-Tah. All legal!

In defence, Walters has been there 4 years, I’m doubting anything changed. I saw Dylan at a native tournament recently he is living out there. Never question a native man on where he lives. |

Building a good team(sure, maybe lumsden is better) but with solid locals as well. This is why their crowds were pretty unreal last year as well. |

But is what it is The nooner actually somewhat said this on yesterdays episode, said as great as it is these guys are getting paid big dollars and the high end hockey come playoffs and provincials there’s a potential breaking point where it’s gonna go to far for sustainable for the league. |

I can think of a couple. All of the White City boys would have grown up playing in balgonie rink. Holtby , Trapp, Milligan. Bentz woulda grew up around Raymore/ Southey and isn’t there. Sad isn’t it. That’s why Lumsden is so strong because true true locals like Reid and beaudry stay and play for the town. Even Raymore is better with the linnens and those Raymore kids. I don’t even know if Balc has 1 kid that grew up in that rink. |
