what a ing joke this league is... show me a team (in any league in the province) that says they aren't paying anyone anything and i'll show you a bunch of liars! This is probably the biggest problem with Sr hockey in general |

This is probably the biggest problem with Sr hockey in general well yes and no.. there are leagues that have limited imports which in turn helps keep the money under control. your not going to get guys that have played WHL, USport, NCAA and pro to come play for nothing... and i don't blame them.. but the money getting handed out now is just bonkers. there are legit guys making over 1K a game to play senior... thats more than guys playing ECHL make lol.... Its gotten out of hand and will kill teams/leagues here in the next little while... |

Its gotten out of hand and will kill teams/leagues here in the next little while... Definitely, if I was being offered that kinda money to play Sr it would be impossible to say no. Just worry’s me how some of these small town teams can last trying to keep up and compete. Guess leagues and teams will cross that bridge when it comes. It’ll just be unfortunate when they start dropping cause they can’t afford it. |

Does this all just boil down to, it was simply too obvious that Walburg was paying? So teams are allowed to skirt the rules, but only so long as they are discreet about it? Awful look for the league. How many players with a designated Lloydminster centre, would a team like Hillmond be limited to in this league? I honestly don’t know.
