David Dziurzynski worked for Graham Murray (Hillmond). Graham Murray assumed the Dziurzynski’s were playing in Hillmond. This was public knowledge as last March, it was stated on this form that the Dziurzynski’s were going to Hillmond for the 2023-24 season. This came from people in Hillmond. David quit working for Graham before the season started, for a career job. This was also around the same time they realized the Dziurzynski’s weren’t playing there. This is where Graham started his work. One thing we’ve learnt, he is as spineless off the ice, as he is on it (how many suspensions has he taken vs Walburg?)
The league told Walburg to get rid of the Dziurzynski’s. They didn’t because they felt they were following the same rules all the other teams. So once Graham did all his dirty work (and it was easy to get everyone on board to vote out the class of the league) the decision was made.
After being voted out, Walburg made a proposal to drop the Dziurzynski’s (which they were told to do by league president and several teams) then questions abound “why is Walburg dropping them if they’re not guilty of paying?”. That is where things get pretty stupid. It shows you how narrow minded these teams are. When Walburg asked if the Dziurzynski would have went to Hillmond would this even be brought up? Graham Murray actually said in the league meeting “no because we don’t pay”. You can’t make this shit up in this league!
Chris Slauenwhite, former backup for the Eagles jumped ship to Hillmond and spread false lies. He told them each banner costed $20,000. Well Chris, it’s probably not far off because after you pay ice fees to the arena board, reffing, registration, sticks, etc, guess where the total gets close to I want a liter of Cola Farva?
The Monday Nooner was another factor. Their bias towards Wainwright and Lashburn and their spreading of rumours had serious implications in this matter and threw gas on the fire. I actually heard a lawyer was contacted because of the rumours the Nooner spread to help Wainwright and Lashburn.
Everyone in this league knows they can’t beat Walburg so they had to boot them. The amount of dirt the team received from players in this league was mind blowing: Wainwright player messaged a player and said how much Kitscoty and Vermillion were offering. A team in another league offered money to Eagles players and said he’d give all the dirt on Lashburn and Hillmond. Walburg got a first hand message about Hillmond offering a high caliber player money. Lashburn was caught red handed a few years ago offering Walburg players money, proof was given to every team and the league did NOTHING. Last year Onion Lakes top line asked Walburg and Hillmond for money, both declined and they travelled double the distance for “free” to Lashburn. The now “top teams” have mysteriously started fundraising the past few years and they went from below .500 teams to the top of the league. Again nothing from the league
We will leave Paradise Hill alone because they “voted us in” we’ll let you draw your own conclusions on that roster lol
The last thing I will leave you with is excerpt 7.3 of the constitution: “All players must be amateur. The word amateur meaning a player who does not receive any financial remuneration, other than out of pocket expenses.”
Wow a “non paying league” with it stating in the rules you can reimburse. This league is such a joke ran by a couple clowns (yes Murray Cochrane, time to resign you botched this by admitting you know Paradise Hill and Lashburn are paying and turned your back to it)
The old saying goes: if you can’t beat em, vote ‘em out

Probably could have been handled better especially the last few years leading up to this but lets not pretend how obvious this was. Give me one good reason those guys would go play in St, Walburg vs anywhere else. Could have went to Lashburn, Hillmond, Phill or back to Kindo if they are going to be driving to St. Walburg from Lloydminster. The League has looked the other way for a few years and i think maybe this was just “the straw that broke the camels back”. All the guys on those other teams have good reasons for playing there.

This is laughable. Like some one mentioned earlier. U can guarantee the top guys in this league are getting paid. U think layne young who had 100 points one season in junior A is playing for “free” not a fricken chance lol. League executives needs to grow a set and let these guys back in. All this is doing is hurting the community up there. I’d can bet 3/4 of the league is paying. Might as well fold the league and start fresh. What’ a joke lol

What’ a joke lol Im not completely opposed to letting them back in but i wouldnt say Layne young is a good example. For arguments sake lets say he gets paid… the guy atleast lives in Phill and is a Phill lifer that is a long ways away from this walburg situation. I mean petition to have a paying league but goodluck keeping most of the other teams.
