What went on Fridays game lorburn vs craik. Heard a craik player got 5min for slashing and 2 game suspension. Lorburn player has a broken jaw from it. If that the case he should get more than 2 games.

Like I said I heard he broke his jaw. Thanks for the update. Either way it was a 2 handed swing to the head which should result in a longer than 2 games.

So, I looked up the league pims and Craik is not even in the top half of the league, 3 of there 4 opponents had more pims, and there top penalty guy is 19th in the top 20.
I was also told by a game official that it was an attempted hook that went high and not a2 hander. Still a reckless play and worthy of at least 2 games but not an entire team effort.
It’s like Fox News on this site.

It’s like Fox News on this site. I No way that was an attempted hook. You don’t fracture a guys jaw and knock a couple teeth out without it being a slash. Good thing he had his mouth guard in or else he would have lost more than two teeth. It was absolutely a two hander as I was at the game and watched it. Glad to see the league and HockeySask have shown that a slash to the face/head is only a two game suspension. |
