Im surprised this league hasn't gotten rid of contact and have banned hitting!someone might get hurt from a hard hit!! By the sounds of it, you are a bunch of pansies!!shit happens in hockey. Get over it....nobody is going out of their way to injure anyone! Guess loreburn better not get any high sticking penalties for the rest of the year....

Pillardome is great atmosphere for senior hockey. Tight skating, gotta make quick passes and skate to fond open ice.

It wasn’t a high sticking penalty, it was called a slash as it should have been. Yes shit happens in hockey, usually a slash to the head warrants more than a 2 game suspension though. |

This would be defined in the rule book. So I'm sure it's 2 games. |

Yes, 2 games is the minimum suspension for a slashing major but god forbid you say some bad words. You’re out for a month or more.

Only team in this league who would be game for banning contact is kenaston as they said teams were to rough last year in their playoff run. Will be an interesting game tomorrow in Davidson!

I'll start off by saying nobody wants to see anybody get hurt and there is no place in the game for slashes to the head, but isn't this what all the fans wanted? Hatred creates rivalries and rivalries fill rinks. I'd make the drive and pay the price of admission to get a chance to see somebody try to get retribution. As Reg Dunlop said" run the siren, let them know there's going to be blood"!

I've been a league fan for years, seen a lot of games, and I can honestly say that the entire 19rs organization is now, and has always been complete ANGELS. And the entire team in Craik is the DEVIL.
