While i agree that ACAC should def. not be considered elite pretty much all other college is a level up on Junior A which is the benchmark the league has chosen for Elite/non-elite. I totally disagree on the league going downhill... i'd bet the rosters this year are gonna look better than just about any other ever... it seems like all teams are loading up.

It’s not sustainable … Not disagreeing with what players are asking for (and getting it seems) being ridiculous. however there are teams in every league that throw around big money and have for years... so what will happen, the teams that are doing it for a few years decide they won't anymore and what happens? players will get paid less. thats my guess anyways. |

Not disagreeing with what players are asking for (and getting it seems) being ridiculous. however there are teams in every league that throw around big money and have for years... so what will happen, the teams that are doing it for a few years decide they won't anymore and what happens? players will get paid less. thats my guess anyways. Maybe have 12 skaters tops and no goalie. well id say that falls squarely on the coach.... you have to mix these kids in and give em some ice. i'm mean if you don't do that then can't blame em for leaving. Jansen will def. pull kids from Lanigan maybe from drake to. |

Jansen will def. pull kids from Lanigan maybe from drake to. When 1 team loads up, it’s a ripple effect and more teams do the same to stay competitive. Teams will then get guys an address and look and all options as to which player could be classified as a local. They do what they need to to stay competitive against all other teams. Is it the right way, that’s another opinion. But it helps the quality of games throughout the league. I’m happy the leagues at a spot where any team can win any given night. Is it sustainable. I don’t think it is. Enjoy it while it’s here. |

Lanigan has probably had the most locals on their roster in the league for the last few years, i doubt they lose 10+ to other teams. By my rough math they had about 15 locals last year. |

Lanigan has probably had the most locals on their roster in the league for the last few years, i doubt they lose 10+ to other teams. By my rough math they had about 15 locals last year. Wadena has a ton of locals as well. Watrous did the last couple years as well but they weren't nearly competitive enough. |

The Blair’s and Bartel are the only locals that ever saw the ice so it doesn’t really matter. They likely won’t have the bodies and/or depth to be a real threat in league but they’ll pick up 6-8 guys and be strong for A again |
