I heard today that the league voted Adam Dmyterko as an import. Also heard Watrous was dropping him to keep everyone else. What has everyone else heard?

I think it sucks for Dmyterko more than anything. Played last year as a non import and now has to go find a new team because his status changed a month before the season.

i cant see them dropping Dmyterko....would make more sense dropping one of the new imports and keeping Adam....will wait and hear the news from the hawks themselves

Sounds like Watrous dropped Haines. No way they were dropping Dmyterko…. Good luck finding a good young goalie this close to the season.

Also I guess there’s a new rule about poaching imports from teams within the league. Say team A offers team B’s import more money to leave and play with them. Unless team A gives their ok, that player can’t be registered with team B and would have to not play in the LLHL for a year. And it sounds like it wouldn’t matter if that player didn’t even play with team A that year either.
