Heard on the Monday Nooner that the league is saying Adam Dmyterko is an elite. Anyone know what’s going on there? The LLHL website has him listed as an import for last year... |

They had him listed as an import off the start as their other non elite spots were filled up and they had open elite spots. When they dropped those two guys and added smith and helm they moved him to non elite. He finished last year as a non elite |

In their last playoff game their 4 imports listed on the League website reads Dmyterko, Smith , Topham, Johnson as their 4 imports. So clearly was still an import when the year finished and when they added smith the had to drop an import. Pretty easy to see any games of ncaa regardless a division would be hockey beyond JR .A would be an Elite Import. And if the league was asked about it don’t you think they would remember changing him to a non elite if that was true. Pretty easy to figure out.

there was an email sent to all the managers in the league when Smith was added that Dmyterko was dropped to a non-elite spot. It's all been documented.
the website was never updated as Watrous ran with an open Elite spot all year.

 asked him for proof and this was what he sent me back. Dmyterko was changed to Non-elite back in november. |

Well doesn’t really matter either way, based on the wording of the rule he’s a non elite. Isn’t it 80 Jr A games or higher? From what is told, it was brought up in the league meeting at the end of the year, and anything above Jr A is considered Elite. |

Doesn’t sound like that was stated. And the wording listed above would seem like you need 80 games of junior a to be an elite, or play u sport or whl

NCAA div III is higher than Jr A - only a select group of JR A players would make it to that point, which leads me to believe hes playing higher than jr A. Which, much like Deklerk would rule him as an elite regardless of the 80 game threshold. If thats the way the league ruled Deklerk i cant see how they can rule Dymterko any differently.

Asked the guy I know from Watrous about this. This is what he sent back. “Exact wording of rule change”. Each team will be allowed up to 4 non-elite imports, defined as not playing more than 80 “junior A” games Watrous is fine, as Dmyterko hasn’t played 80 games of junior A Ha that is like saying a guy with 60 junior A games is fine...but he played 1 whl game after...but he only played 60 junior A games. Piss around with the wording all u want, anything higher than junior A is a elite. Pretty simple. Div III is much better than ACAC, etc and they are considered elite. Omg |

The league ruled on deklerk because he played a full season in the whl. Gimme a break lmao. The way it was explained with Deklerk is one game of experience over jr A is considered elite. So ya 1 game of WHL or 3 games of NCAA will make a player elite. |
