Anybody know what will happen to Battleford and Turtleford since they both will only have one active goalie on the roster? Do they have to cut a player spot and add a goalie today just in case of injury for the games that their guys are suspended? Or are they allowed to bring an emergency goalie to sit on the bench to each of those games incase Simkins or Macksymchuk gets hurt?

McDonald got 4 games tigers
McKenzie got 3 games blues
Lange got 3 games blues
I think everyone else got 2 games.
Go to the SPHL homepage then click on..

It is up to date and has them all listed.
I am surprised how easy some got off!
Does the league decide the length?
Doesn’t it follow the CHA rule book?

Doesn’t it follow the CHA rule book? Looks like they should consider themselves lucky with those suspension lengths. |

A game for a fight in the last ten is the dumbest suspension of them all. Should never have been a suspension. Scrap it out and go sit for 5.

Have heard from a few people that suspensions are being adjusted, a few lengthened to meet Hockey Sask minimum, and a few shortened. I haven't heard for sure what they all are yet, but will update the website when I get the full details.

I guess you have to lay down the law if you want to continue to make this a “working man’s league”.
No playoff run for the Tigers now with their best player gone for 11 games. He will think twice next time.
Blues will need to find a goalie, but no big loss with McKenzie gone for 8 games.
I just wonder what the Rcmp think about their member, McKenzie,
brawling it out on the ice and being suspended? Maybe no one cares?
It doesn’t look good from a public point of view.
I wouldn’t want to make him mad if he gave me a ticket.
Everyone has a job to go to Monday morning, got to keep the players safe!

Holy lick 11 games... I guessed 7 or 8, damn. I see 9 guys out of 10 got a suspension, who’s the one guy on the ice that didn’t lol technically 9 out of 13 on the ice lol. Both goalies got suspended and the goalie who jumped the bench. 2 skaters each team didn't get suspended. |

That McKenzie is a joke just like half the guys on the blues team. Disgrace to the whole police force reminds me of the stuff Salzl used to pull back in the day and get away with |

Agreed simkins will wins games every other team would love to have him as there goalie preaty heavy suspension of all the stuff caffet has done and he is still in the league
