Little line brawl at the end of the game. Hope the suspension doesn't effect Justin's provincials, as I heard he's playing with Edam. He'll likely miss the rest of the regular season with the Tigers after glancing at the game sheet. What did he do? |

Heard he skated down to battlefords end with like 30 seconds left and fought battlefords goalie and another player in the same stoppage.
Maybe Stickboy has a comment on what actually happened? Usually has a comment every time the Tigers play?

I'm guessing Turtleford is on the phone with Caffet right now trying to sign him after the 5 games off. The most embarrassing part was watching the Tigers stand there while their goalie got worked. They got down and so did their ego.

I know, I wish there was a way to post it. But basically a bunch of fights, turtleford goalie got 2 plus instigators for both fights, 4 bford got 2 fights. The rest all just straight fights.

B Ford guy laid a hit, turtleford started going after him, then a small scrum with maybe a fight, was starting to calm down then goalie came down. That's the jist of it from live barn

Hockey Sask has mandated minimum suspensions, line brawl in the last 10 minutes is basically 2 games for every fight after the first one. Instigator and aggressor is auto 1 game, 2 fights 1 stoppage is 2 games etc. Only extra rule this league has is a 1 man fight is an extra game on top of whatever penalties you get. So in Al Caffets(Spiritwood) case he got instigator(1), aggressor(1), and 1 man fight(1) for 3 games.

Who was Al Caffe’s victim? By the sounds of it a Maidstone guy made a pretty dirty hit from behind then refused to drop his gloves, had more then enough time to do so. |

And the only issue for Al was who was wearing the stripe. Don't see a suspension for the dirty hit, but than again, Phillips is still in this league.
