Just so you know....Hafford left this league because there were locals that would have to be cut from a "local team" because they would be ineligible to play because of x junior status. So the same story with Edam, the league wasn't changing the rules, and since I'm not on the board Hafford left. Don't make it sound like we left because we thought we were too good....the league wanted to structure the league to house guys who didn't play any better hockey that Jr.B in their league. As for Jeep....David George I'm sure works for a grand total of what to run this league?? Yes the answer is probably peanuts!! So instead of running him into the dirt, on a forum using fictional names, you should step up and help. He's done and supported his fair share of hockey in the North Battleford area, the league never fit Haffords team, we left with our 24 fans, but at least those 24 fans are watching some local boys play. Its not perfect, but its what we have, and we deal with it. Oh and BTW our payroll isn't what you think....cause there is no payroll.

Haha okay Simmonds no payroll good one! Players must just choose to drive out to that shithole and play for free. Half your team wouldn’t be playing in hafford if they were not getting paid.

You guys all need to get your heads out of your a$$! Albert is a disgrace to hockey, he clearly wasn’t out there for any reason Sunday but to fight. Look at the guys past, when he started following shynkaruk around he should have been booted out. Then maymont guy drops his gloves and starts beating the wheels off potratz who didn’t want to fight! The refs let that game get out of hand. Right before Albert went off of shynkaruk Tyne Cole skated tape across for him to tape his wrists. If that isn’t a tell tale sign to get Albert out of the game I don’t know what is. Then when everything hits the fan and Fat Albert is on top of shynkaruk what do people expect Battleford players to do. There’s no reason hawtin should have beat the refs into the penalty box. It wasn’t a matter of Battleford being goons, they were protecting their teammate from a sure beat down. You’d expect a the refs to get in there but pretty Tough when the refs are a guy who can’t even bend of to pick up the puck and a female who is 1/4 the weight of Albert. Then the linesmen are a 16 year old kid and a guy they picked up from the retirement home before the game. You think the video is bad? That could have easily gotten way more out of hand.

Then the linesmen are a 16 year old kid and a guy they picked up from the retirement home before the game. You think the video is bad? That could have easily gotten way more out of hand. First off, the refs are not supposed to break up altercations, so Jess and David not getting in there is doing what they are supposed to. Second, the guy they picked up from the retirement home, is one of the better linesmen in Sask, currently the only guy in North Battleford working SJHL games on the lines, I'd love to see anyone commenting on here out work Sheldon. |

Braid & Boyer don't play for nothing  you may be able to fool some but not all. I played with both & i knew what they were getting paid with us, left our team for Hafford.... but they left for 0 dollars/game? There was also a fight in Radisson last Friday night, I was sent the video and uploaded it on the forums Twitter account if you guys want to check it out. christ. 22 should get a hefty suspension out of that. Greasy play, absolutely no respect. Anyone know what set him off? |

Who the f designed those penalty boxes? Are there no dividers at all? This isn't the 1930's. At the very least throw some plywood between the boxes. Not the first time that has happened, probably not the last. Very poor design. Definitely need a barrier to keep them separated. |

Is Albert a disgrace? Yes. Was shynkaruk innocent sitting in silence the whole time before it happened? Doubt it. Does this mean he should get a beat down from Albert as he crosses the box? Absolutely not. Blame the refs all you want, you try and keep a game with players like this in order. If this league keeps up this pace with brawls you're not going to have anyone to come ref these gongshows you call hockey games. People complain about reffing and wonder why we have a shortage or newer under qualified refs getting pushed through the system. You only do so many of these games before you throw in the towel cause it isn't worth it, they're taking time out of their weekends to come and patrol idiots like this. |

How the fk is Hawtin not suspended. Good job Jeep, good job. I'm sure the Tigers have put in a protest. Parking the big rigs Infront of the arena Friday? I have to agree with you. Easy call for 3rd man in. Soanes got suspended for 2 games for being 3rd man in, Hawtin should get 2 games as well. I don’t care who you cheer for, the rules need to be followed fairly for every team. I don’t know how some people can look themselves in the mirror. Blatant favouritism for the Blues! |
