Im sure parker thomas has a tik tok coming ! Waygons will win league this year just curius whens the last time a first year team has come in and won the long lake? I'm pretty sure it's never happened, so this is a cool run they are on. It's good to see the league adding strong teams like the Wildcats, Flyers and Monarchs.ย Agreed, Rosetown made it to the league final the one year they joined but lost to Lanigan

Maybe Wynyard should have cut more locals โฆ, 12 players for a home game playoff and 4 of them were paid imports. ๐๐๐

Can anyone from Wynyard provide rationale for paying all this money for the players they brought in this year? What a waste of hard earned farmer $$

And everyone here is acting as if Wynyard is the only team paying big money for players when I know for a fact that Leroy and Foam Lake both had bigger payrolls. As well as a bunch of other teams in the province. Oh and Parker is probably waiting for the prov A finals for his next Tic Toc so Hopefully he posts it in here since everyone is so concerned about it ๐

How does being in the Provincial A semi final with an excellent chance of making the final constitute a waste? Iโm sure theyโre disappointed to lose in the league semi final but 95% of the teams in the province would take the Monarchโs season in a heartbeat.

Well, regular imports (4 players) costing $2000 per game. Add the two Lanigan players for prov they are an extra $500 a piece. Ups to $3000 per game, not including Outlook pickups ... bill starts adding up for them... they better hope they cruise through Odessa & also Hafford/Drake ... or else yikes lets remortgage hunny!!

Even the bottom feeders are probably close to 2k a game in this league...

New imports every year for the last five years. Clearly an awesome place to play where guys want to be ๐๐๐

Some guys clearing 20-25k of cold hard cash a winter. The $$$ dished out used to be to cover guys costs to, some gas money, case of beer for the way home, a stick or two. Now itโs more profitable than playing east coast for crying out loud. Sad to see.
