think they get in? good enough team and all that, but more added travel for a saskatoon based league... Closer than Foam Lake and, with only 6 teams, I expect their entry is a formality. I think it'd be good for the league to have them in it. heard some rumors of leroy already trying to find guys for a team next year as well which would get the LLHL up to 8 teams. Not sure if they have ever had 8 teams before. |

If talks are happening of a new league in the north east has there been any discussion with other communities about joining? With wadena likely going to long lake that just leaves naicam, Tisdale, porcupine and Kinistino. A 4 team league wouldn't be horrible, but would be nice to have at least 2 more. if there is a NE league I'd assume what's left of the wheatland north. Tisdale, naicam, kinistino, pp. Hudson Bay would want in. Maybe kelvington could have a team again, depends if their guys stay in wadena. Maybe nipawin/carrot river could throw a team together. Also depends what kind of import/elite rules the league would decide to go with. |
