The league totally f_ed themselves this year. The top teams asked for more imports or rulings on situations that will allow mroe imports and everyone agreed but only the top 3 teams are going to benefit. The other 5 can't even fill all their import spots. Makes no sense.
A word of advice, the 5 bottom teams have the voting power. Next spring, get back to reasonable import and population rules so its sustainable for everyone. Raymore and Balcarres using White City for locals is wrong. Fix it. Balcarres doesn't even have true locals and you allowed them to add more imports now. Wake up.
Lumsden and Raymore both cheated last year so you fixed the rules so they could add more imports. Wake up x 2.

Teams don’t have enough true “locals” anymore and many teams don’t fit within the KM radius where a large amount of players come from… It makes it increasingly difficult to add any type of player because almost every player willing to play has played atleast Jr B or higher… and all of the good ones who have any type of local ties moved away at a young age to play else where. |

Wake up x 2. The real problem isn’t money. You guys that can’t get players make it about that. It’s that guys on your team can’t convince players to come out one way or another. There is not many true locals any more in any of these towns as there is 0 elite minor hockey in almost every small town and in grenfells case all of their older players were aging and losing connections and not many guys are gonna come play in their 30s, so if you don’t know the new kids from those areas , they will go play else where it’s why I saw so many go to Kipling and the Big 6… and again the population standards kinda hurt the league , because of all these kids leaving at a young age im sure they would all take less money to play with their buddies, but now its all restricted to the players who would actually play, so they all go chase big $$ cuz they know they can get it. |

Do you know the price of things now a days dingle nuts??? Don’t act like Balcarres ain’t paying out of their ass as well. To fill a truck up is 150-200. New sticks are $400. Skates are 1000. Guys need to make it worthwhile and 100 -200 bucks a game ain’t it. Especially when they are putting in community time and producing. Calm down Alan Walsh. You don’t need to come on here and advocate for your clients. You’re as bad as the Monday Nooner pigeons. Just celebrating guys getting as much money as they can and laughing about it. No one has folded more teams and leagues than the MN boys. Idiots. Stop celebrating the money and imports and get back to letting the locals play. What locals?
