Have heard rumblings of this as well just not real sure what the end goal is. Does Watrous want to take a step back from paying $3000 a game to ice a team or are they just looking to re-draw the LLHL lines back to the traditional area of the LLHL/Wheatland? I know a big reason Davidson left was that travelling to FL, Wadena, Wynyard versus Butte, Kenaston, Outlook, Loreburn all winter was a no brainer. Don't see why any of those teams would want to leave the Svhl right now either.

I can also confirm there was an email sent out With one guy spearheading the whole thing with support from others in Watrous. Pretty sure the end goal is to get foam lake, Wynyard, and Wadena out of the long lake. Sounds like a few svhl teams were contacted and some long lake teams. It would be called the Sask central hockey league. Will see what comes out of it. “Ten team league”

- Allen
Division B

why wouldn't allan and hanley not be included, but towns like Rosetown and Outlook are?
The less travel time the better imo. Rosetown to Lanigan is 2 1/2 hours.

looking at competitiveness... you think Allan and Hanley are going to compete with the rosters these other teams have assembled... like kenaston going into hanley? don't think that would work. It looks like the travel is centered around distance from saskatoon... which honestly isn't a bad idea. at least half of the team for a lot of the teams on that list are coming from saskatoon anyways.

Very interesting. I don’t know how the valley teams will feel about this but I suppose we will find out. The SVHL is set up very well right now.
