I read that St. Walburg is going with a more local team and applying for the SPHL. On the same thread I seen someone thought Biggar would be applying too. They might be better off to combine with Perdue. Not sure how many teams is too many for this league.

Who will load up next year to make the finals and lose to the Combines? Would be nice to see battleford do something useful for once, or even Radisson get over their 2nd round hump.

Why don’t the Combines move their championship team to the SWPL, and take a run at provincials?
All good teams go looking for better competition to prove to themselves that they can compete with anyone.
At least compete in provincials and see what you got.

Meota moving to SWHL with 3 junior players and playing A provincials when every team they would be competing against has 10-15 junior players doesn’t add up. Why doesn’t management and leadership on Battleford Radisson Turtleford just get better? Blues scouting midget AA super stars every year with no work ethic, Radisson trying to pay guys with no commitment, Turtleford icing the same team every year with the McDonald sisters just isn’t going to get the job done. Glaslyn tried throwing the money around this year but you can’t win a series with 2 lines when the other team is rolling 4. Just appreciate the fact Meota makes this league relevant. Quit hating the player, hate the game. |
