You do realize the “League Rosters” are much enhanced for Provincial A? Comparing leagues is pointless with these teams… Which is why the provincial A titles won by long lake teams the last few years don’t prove they have the strongest league like so many long lake fans seem to think on here. Almost all the teams entered provincials this year and they weren’t able to make all star teams like years past and sure enough no banners this year. If you can’t admit that the competition and general quality of hockey in A - especially in the present - is significantly higher than in the other two categories then who can you say would compete? Hats off to Kenaston for the wagon they’ve built and if they win there is zero doubt they are the best. Leroy and Wadena both had soft first matchups, which is unfortunate for comparison sake but look at the rest of the draw! How many svhl teams could pick up 3-4 guys and win even a round if they get a tough first matchup? Lanigan was arguably the weakest LLHL team in A and took Kenaston to three games and 4 of the other 5 LLHL teams won a round and Watrous won 3.

Kenaston is a wagon and shouldn’t have a problem winning the finals. As for the other SVHL teams. Kyle could for sure compete in A. Might need another guy or 2 but would make a run in A. Dinsmore would be up there as well. Again probably need another pickup or 2.

Lumsden is way deeper than any other team they’ve played so far though, I wouldn’t say they’ll have no problem winning…….

Watrous’s coach Jesse engages with the refs way too much. It’s senior hockey once in a while fair enough but my god Summer hawk showing their obsession again for Jesse Mattson. I sense some jealousy.

When was the last time kenaston was held to two goals in a game? Kenaston is a wagon, no arguing that. Watrous just had no depth. Tisdale playing last night definitely hurt them. Smith and Johnston and klassen need some help out there. Kenastons depth is too much. Actualy game 1---hawks lost 2-1 lol---

i havent seen lumsden play so no clue how their game will be...but what i know is kenaston totally smothered the hawks on the o zone and then boom before u know it its a 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 and they get high danger chances....so i imagine it will be the same for the prov final--a real battle---but think the blizz wins
