Mychan was on a line with Helm, and LaMotte or Antoniadis.

Kenaston’s depth up front really showed tonight. Watrous matched Klassen up with McVeigh and Yakabowski and they were held in check pretty well, but they had no answer for the other two sets of forwards. All four guys Kenaston runs on their third line scored tonight. Johnston and Smith generated almost all of Watrous’s offence. Much more physical game than game one.

Thought this game had a little more flow. Kenaston was a little sharper. But the next round is going be even tougher. I’m not sure Kenaston has enough left in the tank.

Agreed, Kenaston is a deep team that comes in waves. It was a good game and they were more than Watrous could handle. Congrats to them and good luck in the final. |

Kindersley gave Kenaston a way better series’s. I thought Watrous was pretty disappointing. Long lake is a very overrated league.

When was the last time kenaston was held to two goals in a game? Kenaston is a wagon, no arguing that. Watrous just had no depth. Tisdale playing last night definitely hurt them. Smith and Johnston and klassen need some help out there. Kenastons depth is too much.

Props to Watrous for making it to final four. They had three tough series to get there. Only team in the final four that didn’t get a first round bye.

You do realize the “League Rosters” are much enhanced for Provincial A? Comparing leagues is pointless with these teams… Which is why the provincial A titles won by long lake teams the last few years don’t prove they have the strongest league like so many long lake fans seem to think on here. Almost all the teams entered provincials this year and they weren’t able to make all star teams like years past and sure enough no banners this year. |

Almost all the teams entered provincials this year and they weren’t able to make all star teams like years past and sure enough no banners this year. The LLHL fanboys also seem to believe an A banner is the only one that means something. Guess those B banners in Watrous/Leroy/Lanigan/Wadena, C in Lanigan/Leroy/Drake/Davidson and D banners in Drake/Davidson should be removed. |
