If audette was healthy round Lake probably would have only scored 1 may b 2 goals max I just don’t know how that team beat Milestone Or how they won a tournament there must be some pretty weak teams in those tournaments 🤷🏼🤷🏼🤷🏼

The team that Carlyle played with tonight was probably the weakest Line up they will ice in provincials at any time this yr

Felt that it was a great game to watch. Refs let a lot go, RL did have a few dirty sticking infractions that went uncalled. Gabrielle did a great job of playing the villian role tonight getting in the heads of the RL and their "goons". Starting off the warm ups stretching at center ice was a vodl move, but worked in his favor as it drew in Boschman, and Mirasty. Mirasty had a dirty spear, but from then on it seemed that RL was focused on Gabrielle. He responded by playing hard nosed hockey and burying 3 goals (I think). RL took period 1 out playing Carlyle. Carlyle goalie had some great saves that kept the Cougars in it early. Carlyle came out in the second and took it to them. The Goons came on and coughed up a goal to the top line. Why RL coach plays and signed them is beyond me... but the penalties that were called Carlye capitalized. Lacquette #2 had a dirty swinging stick incident that went uncalled against Gabrielle. #2 later was scared to get hit in the corner and coughed up a goal. All of Carlyles lines were rolling and did a good job of not backing down, nor getting caught up in any of RLs antics. RL D seemed as though they were looking for the big hit rather than play which led to s lot of odd man rushes. King, Fiddler and Daychief were the standouts for RL. Other than thecothers were non factors. Gabrielle and Carlye goalie get the game stars. 50/50 was still unclaimed when the game ended.

Game 1 was 7-4 for Carlyle & they had Midale goalie Talen King in net. He played well and to some degree was the difference. RL needs to play more disciplined and stop trying to get Gabrielle off his game it didn’t work as he had 3 goals and 1 apple so try something different. Play physical and hard but stay disciplined while doing it.

He's also barely 25. Do some research guy. I did, and he played AAA one year than played AA midget. What’s the big issue? Just saying and giving him credit. Played AA midget hockey and he shut down a lot of pro caliber players. Eat a snickers bud |
