Looking forward to this series should be physical and skillful play but I am worried about the goaltending for Carlyle unless they play Levesque from Oxbox but RL should have the advantage a bit in goaltending with Krahn. Milestone is a younger than RL so they might have more stamina in later parts of the game but overall should be a great series that goes 3 games and the winner will be more disciplined and get the goaltending needed.

I think Carlyle will have the advantage with three solid lines they can rotate for sixty minutes. And they are definitely a Younger team Wih plenty of skill That can play three periods at full speed it seems like they only play as good as they have to to win the game Rather they r playing weak teams or good teams they should be injury free for that series at least to start I think the team that can control there emotions the most will win the series and not get in penalty trouble The referees are going to be ready for this series

One thing you can count on in this series is full barns in both places for all the games

Not sure if this is true, But the word is Carlyle is trying to fix their goalie issue by saying both of their tendys are hurt. Something about picking up Holtby to fix their lack of goaltending. Lol, if this is true. Talk about shady. Anyone have anything on this to berify.

Yes it’s going to b a close series pretty evenly matched teams it will come down to discipline and getting a couple lucky bounces Mayb. And of course penalties will play a role it always does and refereeing as every one kns. The 50/50 will probably be five grand for all the games atleast. And without a doubt that’s going to Atteact some people to the rink.

I think Audet is hurt for Carlyle Pateman played last night in league playoffs against Wawota game sheet does not show that Carlyle dressed a spare goalie. Levesque also played last night for Oxbow in league playoffs against Moosomin so unless one of them got hurt last night they got two tenders but what team wouldn’t want to try to get Holtby LOL

Yes they only got one goalie now no back up so r entitled to pick someone up according to sha rules. I always thought that the only goal tender you could pick up had to be from a team that was eliminated from provincials already but maybe that rule has been changed recently.

The pick up goalie can’t play unless both signed goalies are hurt. Avonlea and Southey had to replay a series after using a EBUG a number of years ago.

That’s sounds fair And that’s the way it should be :: if you’re original goalie was having a bad game does that mean you cannot use your other goalie to finish a game that would be the only thing that would be a bad situation If you can’t go to the other goalie

Makes sense so the edge is on RL for goaltending I would think Plus they have a criteria in picking up a goalie. They cant just go sign Holtby. The following criteria, in order, shall be used in determining where a replacement goaltender is obtained from. i) an affiliate goaltender. ii) a goaltender from a lower division or category within the sponsoring center of the team. iii) a goaltender from a lower division or category from any of the centers/non–centers that form the team, providing permission has been granted in writing by team management. iv) a goaltender from a team of the same or lower category providing permission has been granted in writing by team management. v) Senior D category may come from either the Senior C or D category. b) Permission for the replacement by the General Manager or his/her designate shall be in writing and must be attached to the appropriate registration material for inspection. Where time does not permit, Hockey Saskatchewan shall inform the opposing team by phone before the next scheduled game. The player must join the team within ten (10) days of the date of the last game in which the injured or ill goaltender played or prior to the next scheduled game of the team. If the team is not scheduled to play within the ten (10) day period indicated above, the replacement goaltender cannot be replaced by another replacement goaltender unless he/she is injured or medically unfit. That all sounds pretty confusing but every team needs a backup goaltender for every game that is a must Because you never know when your tender is gonna pull a muscle or get hurt it can happen anytime during the game But you definitely need rules or there would be all kinds of things going on there’s already enough hanky-panky going on with all these imports in most leagues With players and their living arrangements
