Kick Willow out. Gonna just continue to be issue after issue. I’d imagine Redberry(Blain Lake) would gladly join? Would make a lot more sense for them to be in the TRHL than the SPHL. Teams like red berry serverly suck and would get walked all over in this league lol The SPHL and TRHL are VERY similar in talent and competition level, with similar rules regarding roster construction(3 elites). Redberry is a brand new team, just finished their second season. They went 4-10 and had a lot of close games down the stretch, definitely improved since year 1. They would do just as well as a handful of the other teams in the TRHL. Both leagues are some of the weakest in the province but are great for keeping small town SR teams alive.

Yes absolutely threats to families of the players all game long is unacceptable. Imagine that was the other way around it would be all over the news.

On a side note... I did see there was 5-6 cops called to the arena. How many guys ended up getting arrested and what charges were pressed? I never did end up hearing.. anyone have insight?

Willow cree is a staple in the league. They play real men hockey. Not that weak hockey all you sissys play nowdays.

Let’s be honest Willow Cree is going to win the league this year pretty easily, possibly undefeated. I just don’t trust the longevity of them, commitment and financial stability/responsibility aren’t exactly a staple of beardys in the past

There was exact same threat like this from a Waldheim player to a willow cree player last season. Don’t count your chickens just yet man

In what way couldn’t shellbrooks current team compete? If it wasn’t for the Willow goalies shellbrook could have easily won the first series

Shellbrookes current team cant compete in another league. Their future pay roll can. In what way couldn’t shellbrooks current team compete? If it wasn’t for the Willow goalies shellbrook could have easily won the first series And if it wasn't for me being a bad skater I would have made the NHL. Dumb thing to say when it's a factor of a game...

If it wasn’t for the Willow goalies shellbrook could have easily won the first series Shellbrooke is the 5 or 6th best team in the TRHL. They'd compete, i guess in the wheatland or SPHL. But they ain't winning shit. But they have the community backing them again and i have no doubt they will be better next year.

You know what , I think Willow Cree has a solid line up and roster and they’ve proved it throughout the year and are a hard playing team that being said . If they ever want to be taken seriously and have people not mind them they have to change . I’ve seen comments on here of guys saying people don’t like Willow because they are a native team but that’s not the case at all , it comes down to showmanship, the williw cree board sitting down and drawing up a proposal on what they can do to make there areana enjoyable to come too , laying out a post telling there fans to respect other teams and fans . And setting some serious ground rules in place , for a team still on probation the only way they’ve shown they belong in this league is there talent , there team hasn’t yet commented on any of the stuff there team or fans have done and for some reason. They don’t show they care about what other communities care about them and have seemed to manage to put the blame on every other community and have been pointing fingers everywhere else and just can’t see to seem the problem . They are a very solid team and are doing well this season but apart of that comes down to them playing rough hockey where they are laying out 18-23 year old kids who are just starting out in this league in dirty ways and making them not want to play in the league . Or always looking for a fight / throwing tantrums , etc . This is something you’ll see on mostly every team to an extent but I think they have crossed some lines and feel like they can without experiencing consequence of any kind. I can see why people want them out of the league and i agree in a way especially with being on probation. Either the president has to sit down with the Willow board or coaches/ boards from the whole league have to sit down and put kicking them out up to a vote since there probation ends a vote is only fair

Is that not racist aswell ? Or is it something that’s just okay . And the threats and comments I hear cross major lines with players not only talking to players but to refs / box workers and fans . Not trying to sound controversial here but just trying to state facts .
