Go to the beardys areana and do what ? Start yelling run the goalie ? Lose our voices yelling pussy? Telling players we know where they live and that we will come kill them ? Start trying to fight fans that get mad at us for saying stupid shit all game ? Sounds like you are the problem . Get off your high horse and realize there’s more to the sport than poor etiquette on and off the ice . We aren’t going to watch games to threaten the other team or the fans . We are there to cheer on our team respectfully and in a way that doesn’t make every community we play in hate us , get a grip buddy , you are probably one of those fans hiding behind your bigger friends anyway . Honestly if you really want to go ahead? I don’t think the players will even care one bit buddy you're completely missing the point. Are you that stunned you can't tell that everyone on here is just saying that kind of behavior does not belong in the rinks. As stated in previous comments kids and other spectators should be able to show up to the rink and enjoy watching a senior hockey game without having to hear a couple guys in the crowd yelling "f**K you" and "pu**y" all game long. The guys on the ice are no better either! CLASSLESS!!! |

when it comes down to it, TRHL doesn't need Willow Cree.
It'd be a loss, but there would be a handful of teams available to take their spot in a heartbeat.
Maybe Sask Prairie is a better fit for Willow Cree.
Lose a strong team, but the league might be better for it.

Kick Willow out. Gonna just continue to be issue after issue. I’d imagine Redberry(Blain Lake) would gladly join? Would make a lot more sense for them to be in the TRHL than the SPHL.

Completely neutral spectator here, scrolling through the forum, seeing what other leagues are up to. Went back and watched some of that game from last Sunday. I'd be embarrassed to be associated with Willow after hearing that display. If this is what every game is like, I don't blame the other teams for wanting them out. And that's a road game, I'd imagine games in Beardy's are much worse.

Being a neutral fan who lives in the area of multiple teams and just enjoys a nice night out at the rink catching some good old senior hockey, I'm having a tough time with what's all going on. I understand the frustration with the incident in Shellbrook and the language and the fans getting in eachothers faces (I was there very close to the scene of the very disturbing crime 🙄). Yes the language was bad that was screamed for all to hear, aside from feelings being hurt from the language there was no physical altercations...which let me remind you happens all over the province in many small towns and is shown all over social media and travels across the world getting shares and likes from multiple outlets... Willow Cree joined the Twin Rivers and has made noise, yes there is suspensions and game misconduct and all that but it's all maltreatment (verbal to the officials) which some stuff people say to the officials to hurt their feelings and get punished is pretty weak. Not sure how many people have been to Clavet, Birch Hills and some of those towns that get the beer gardens right at ice level and the words and actions that take place coming from that... Not defending Willow Cree at all but lastnight in Rosthern they were a treat, Rosthern took the ice and it was like a funeral in there... Willow Cree took the ice and the place erupted, there was no shit in the stands or anything like that. It's rough to paint the whole team with a bad picture when it was 4 maybe 5 people in Shellbrook who put on a classless display. I took in a few games in Beardys this year and they are an experience in a positive way.. the light show is interesting but it pumps up the kids and the community loves it, they pack the stands and offer lots for a Sr hockey game day experience. I've been to few games in Cudworth, Dalmeny and Hague and the disrespect to other people on and off the ice is just as much as anywhere else. Sure the Chiefs get fired up on the ice and maybe slash or hit someone to hard... I don't recall reading or hearing anywhere of anyone having to be carried off the ice or hurt for the year because of them. Give it a break, it's not about race or anything it's about them having solid tough old-school like team that bubblewrap people have a tough time with now a days. Again the Shellbrook incident is garbage and I don't agree at all with it... but no one was hurt (other than feelings) and to want to kick a team out because they intimidate you or are better than you is ridiculous. They benefit the league and every visiting community they go to they put money and lots of it back into that arena or community. Look forward to the Allan Birch game tomorrow and may the best team win the TRHL Championship. This year has been a treat so far. Cheers!
