Anybody hear of anymore players going to different teams? I’ve heard Lanigan is bringing back calladine. With Davidson out, I did hear some of there players were looking for a new team. Rumour at the coffee shop is Watrous spending a lot, bringing in Jesse Mychan. And a couple of his friends. I’ve heard mixed reviews whether the klassens will be playing there as well. Did anyone else hear drake is having a hard time finding players, seems like the same rumour every year.

They should be flush with cash. |

No idea how to fix it aside from reducing the amount of elite/non-elite imports. But that will also kill some teams to. Not enough young locals around |

Not enough young locals around Yup, 100% agree. $3K payrolls for a wednesday night with 40 people in the stands doesnt make a lot of sense. I would start with rolling back the non elite ruling to a more reasonable game limit. Eventually the goal should be getting the league back to a B provincial level. With the addition of the new AA U18 exemptions teams should be able to still ice teams. Quality will undoubtedly go down, but the league will be sustainable and locals who want to play will be able to. |

If the kid plays a single game of U18 AAA or Jr B, they no longer qualify. Good luck finding a kid from the city that never played a game of hockey beyond U18 AA, but suddenly wants to play senior somewhere. The kids who have any interest in playing senior are the same ones that go on to play PJHL after U18 AA, and therefore as the rule is being implemented, no longer qualify for the exemption. |

Parker Thomas listed as a local in Wynyard. Leedahl listed as a local in Leroy. Looks like some teams brought guys to town. cause honestly it should be fairly easy to show if they aren't living there. Does Wynyard have the best d Core in the province with Hobbs, Forsberg, and Thomas all back there?

I mean take a look at Watrous’ roster. Andrew Johnston, George King, Austin Lamotte all listed as non imports ? Other than Johnston I don’t know those names but a quick look on hockey db seems to be they should be imports. Not sure on Leedahl and Thomas, hearing Thomas rents in Wynyard as he works from home.
