Congrats to drake on winning A,also jesse forsberg gets the award for the biggest whiner in senior hockey & the dirtiest player in senior hockey,someone needs to take him out next year & end his misery

Yes congrats to drake in the end the better team won just a shame the refs had to ruin it by calling every little thing and not letting them play. The script was pretty much the same as game 1 wynyard goes up 2-0 then chokes it away.As for shields you would expect better then how he played. Bartel settled down nicely after he faked that injury after the first wynyard goal. Cam blair does it again back to back !Would say the MVP of the series would go to eric roy just an unbelievable defenceman offensively and defensively.

Congrats Drake, was a great game to watch as a neutral spectator. But does drake normally not play music during games? You don't need to announce the game sponsor EVERY stoppage. Props to Wynyard for standing through that post-game speech too.

Probably some of the best hockey from both teams all year. Refs were a bit of a joke but in the end I was only there for the pie!

Congrats Drake, was a great game to watch as a neutral spectator. But does drake normally not play music during games? You don't need to announce the game sponsor EVERY stoppage. Props to Wynyard for standing through that post-game speech too. Props to Drake as well for standing thru that post game script. Painful for both teams to have to ensure that! |

Was a force out there. Agree the reffing was not the best. Bauml played a real nice game. Bartel played solid, shields maybe had one he wanted back. Overall the better team won, and was missing Stumborg to.. |

People saying the refs are a joke is laughable. Drake had more pp during the game. But wynyard with two straight 5-3’s at the very end of the game to make up for it on weak calls was pretty pathetic. Not sure what the penalties ended up being. But wynyard deserved double the penalties that drake did. Every hit by a monarch was either hands, stick, or elbow right to the face. And then a couple monarchs flopping around every chance they got like a fish out of water. Congrats to drake. Deserved the win. The better team won and the refs had nothing to do with it.

I agree with you on refs had nothing to do with it. I thought it was a well reffed game. Both teams took some badly timed penalties but all were deserved. Game was entertaining and the fans all got their monies worth! |

solid solid game from both teams. There were a few weak calls both ways. there sure wasn't room to move out there, both teams clogged up the middle of the ice. Roy played over 45 minutes i'm sure. Congrats to Drake on back to back championships... thats quite the accomplishment.
