Keep updated with scorers for each team plz the new rink has service issues as it’s all steel. I’m sure someone will do their best to help us out. Pray that there is a smoker or somebody dedicated to the game to keep us in the loop. |

Shots were 35-28 wynyard I believe. Back and forth action for most part of the game. Wynyard definitely controlled first period but seemed like Drake found there legs in the second. And the third was mostly back and forth. J forsberg figured he had to be tough at the end of the game with cam Blair. Should be a hell of a game 2 in Drake on sunday

No one puts Cam Blair in the corner. Drake better be coming out hot Sunday to avenge their captain getting facewashed. Blair is the best player in Sask senior hockey history. PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS.

Monarchs are ed they aint winning two games in drake they had there chance in game one and kept blowing it ! As for game one shields was a letdown. Bartel let in the first two but settled down nicely! Wynyard is gonna need a miracle!

Was at the game,drake fumbled there way through the first,fortunate to only be down 2 after 1,found there game in the 2nd & it turned out to be a good fast hockey game,huge huge crowd,pot of gold was around $4400 won by a young girl from wynyard & forsberg is a sore loser.not sure what blair said to him after game but forsberg went berserck lol,he is a good player but is a basketcase.should be an awesome gm 2 on sunday with another packed barn.not sure how drake can handle a big crowd like tonight but it will be packed thats for sure

One tiny window to serve 100's of people between periods and a line up back to the exit doors. Hats off to the Zamboni driver wearing a tux. Looking forward to a great game in Drake and having to choose between about 25 different kinds of pie! |

Series far from over. Drake seems to play more relax/lackluster at home. Shields would have wanted a couple back tonight, he still has ability to steal a game.
Fairly even hockey teams. Wynyard Powerplay let them down tonight. Drake defense after Schaher and Roy is quite the drop-off. Drake forwards have a bit more high end skill than wynyard forwards do. Drake used there whole bench more consistently than wynyard and it looked like wynyard top dogs were gassed in the 3rd. Should be a humdinger of a game 2. If your going to game 2, come early if you want a spot in drake barn.
