Well, there you have it folks. A super league A final! I’m gonna go with Drake in two. Wynyard has the better goaltender but they just don’t have the fire power and Defence like the Canucks have.

I agree with the firepower comment, but Wynyard has some really good Dmen. Haven’t given up squat in their provincial run. Goaltending is a very big advantage for the Monarchs. That said, I think Drake wins in three.

I'd take Wynyard D over Drake any day. Shields is going to have to steal this one. Drake offense is very good |

With Stumborg out i'd go with Wynyard having the stronger defence and goaltending... Drake def. has the edge up front. I'm going Drake in 3, been there know what it takes to win it all.... either way it will be huge crowds with these two teams being so close together. |

Anyone care to divulge why a potential game 3 would be played on a Wednesday when there is still the 24-25-26-31 before the plant needs to be off? Just curious as it seems a little odd not to have that game on a weekend for max fan support.

Whoever has home ice can choose to have games 1 & 3 or 2 & 3. Drake chose option B in this series. |

I really wish people wouldn’t comment on things without having a clue. Drake does not get to set the schedule because they’re the home team. They don’t get to decide if it’s a 1-1-1 or a 1-2 format without discussions with the other team. Player and ice availability along with travel concerns usually are the deciding factors. Hockey Sask is often asked to intervene if teams cannot come to an agreement, but they try to avoid that whenever possible.

i bet its the game within the game is why its a wed night.....maybe in prelim discussions wynyard said that they had some players not around during week....so drake would have hopped on board and said no we need to play during week...our plant getting shut down on the thursday etc...then wynyard complained to sha and sha said nope gotta play during week...maybe a possible scenario...i know as a player if you got chance to win a title you want it on weekend lol but having the weekday game is round one of the battle and has maybe ruffled wynyard a bit and got them pissed off lol forces the players who may not be their to change their plans ...or if they cant or wont...advantage drake
