Glaslyn guys going to Meota are average at best.. They literally all finished top 5 in points the last season, and the 2 other guys who finished in the top 5 aren't playing in this league this season. I'd say they are pretty decent. Also Battleford roster posted now as well. And then they topped out at 3 points in playoffs. That's where it matters strainer12  |

Macdonald will obviously be the best goalie in the league but not sure they’re much further ahead because they had Simkins before who was also the best goalie at the time. Their problem is they have no offensive talent

Weekend predictions
Battleford over meota 6-5. Battleford will run the Combines early and they’ll play scared.
Spiritwood will squeak out their first, possibly only win of the year against Perdue 5-4 if Kirk Chief and Justin Bill are playing. Perdue will lhave the Swood flu as Caffet is coming off of his suspension
Meota will be fired up Saturday against Maidstone and will thump them 8-2.

Looks like Meota wins the first battle of the Battleford’s.
Good first period for the Blues and then no gas. Meota had energy for 3 periods.
Will Jack get suspended for doing what everyone in the league would love to do? That is literally one punch and drop Brody Tatchell for his continuous chirping. He wouldn’t drop them but Jack gave him no choice.
Blues should get better and Meota is still a good team with the core group back. Cockburn is the weak link for sure if they want a championship.
Can’t wait for the rematch.

Maybe those 2 teams should look to get into the Sask West since they’re so much stronger? Kind of an unfair advantage that they get 30 guys out for a “try out” while the small town teams can barely scrape up enough to ice a team.

The last thing Meota wants to do is go to the Sask West and get pounded. They much prefer to play in a less competitive league where they continue to fantasize about how great they are. 🙄 Would like to see them up against Wilkie, Edam or Kindersley just to see the cockyness beat out of them. Will never happen, unfortunately Just a sour blues fan you are? Should Wilkie leave sask west since they always win? Did everyone want Edam to leave wild goose when they won 8 years in a row? Blues sure went down hill since Brittany and Jeep don’t ref them anymore it’s that simple |
