If these Provincials have shown us anything it’s that things can change drastically from game to game. That was a dominant win but??? Expect a dogfight in Kenaston Friday night.

Went to the game tonight and I won't bore you much as it was live streamed. Kenaston scored the first two of the game on nice plays and Redvers scored late on a point shot that Lewchuk couldn't see. 2 - 1 after twenty. The best line on the ice was #91 Standyk, #16 Tkatch ,and #50 Gay and they scored twice early in the second making it 4-1. Great deflection by #9 Yakubowski on a point shot early in the third and this one was over. Redvers scored late making it 5-2, goalie pulled and empty netter made it 6-2 final. Shots ended up 40-35 for Redvers. Those 4 Kenaston forwards played great, defence was solid but unspectacular.
Was really really impressed with goalie Lewchuk. No rebounds and solid positional play, he is a good one. The Redvers import goalie Dmyterko played well. The difference was the Blizzard power play and higher quality of shots.
Being a Big Six guy, have to single out #6 Poirier and #10 Magotiaux. Four years ago they were young fourth liners, they have improved immensely and with Jordan Miller tonight made a great third line.
Estimated attendance 600 tops. Pot of gold 2,500.00 won by a Redvers girl. Great refereeing by Big Sixers Klassen and Lonsberry. No tacky tack calls with these two. Redvers can maybe win one game in this series, it is going to be tough though.

I’d agree with the breakdown. Stadnyks line was very good for kenaston. Redver’s d was very questionable all night. Looked like they weren’t ready for Kenastons top lines. Rocket’s top line with the watrous guys and Miller controlled the play in Kenastons zone a good amount when they were out there but Lewchuk made some huge saves on them. Rockets will need something out of their other lines and dmen if they want a chance. Kopeck was invisible out there. Kenaston should sweep easily unless something changes.

You would think this series is over the way people try to make it sound. Last time I checked it’s best of 3 for a reason. Kenaston lost their first game of last series 12-3 and still went onto win the series.

Maybe Redvers just isn’t as good as the hype. They’re being lead by a couple guys off of the last placed team in the Schlong Lake.

This is not a case of one of these teams being good and the other not being good. Both of them are very good teams. Redvers won 27 games in a row this year between league, playoffs and provincials which doesn’t happen by fluke. Kenaston hasn’t lost a series and hardly a game in the past 2 years. I can tell you first hand from the blizzards stand point this Redvers team is no push over. It really is a shame this is the C south final because these two teams are likely the best of any in the B, C and D divisions.

Dunno why everyone is so hyped up on the blizzard. They gave up 82 goals in 18 games this season
Wadena, Wilkie, Carlyle, Macklin, Kyle, Redvers, Kenaston, Carnduff, Davidson.
All these teams would have way less GA then #dablizz except maybe Carlyle but all their provincial pickups change their team completely. Any given night these teams would be a flip of a coin.
Kenaston didn’t finish first in their league, And Dinsmore also beat them not even a week ago
With such a strong squad why did they feel like they needed to pick up Adrian to sit another actual “local”
I’d like to see no altering of rosters other than A. Then teams can brag about being the best with what they play with all year and by not throwing 2-3 different teams for 1-4 rounds

So compared to other towns they didn’t load up at all. However, yes I’ll agree that most of kenaston’s team is not local at all.
