Players like Jones and Lamont have faced Dasilva lots in the LLHL. Lamont could handle him pretty easily. And I’m sure he wouldn’t back down from Connor. This will be a closer series then you think, especially if Dinsmore thinks it’s going to be a cake walk. Chase place will be packed and the locals would love nothing more then to see a good Game of crash and bang hockey! Pp gets smoked

If your saying that it’s crazy that a team in C has this loaded of a roster and on only teams in A have more WHL players. That’s yet again another reason to change the provincial format. You say you want 20 more teams like porcupine to put a team in. Well if porcupine gets destroyed like you guys think, there will be less teams likely to enter

That’s a good point. And hey good on for pp for throwing in a team with mostly local guys and nearby towns. Not loaded with talent but still some good hockey players. If a different format was created and a division with teams like this would be great for Sr hockey and the smaller centres and their rinks/fans

Good points. Problem is you would have to differentiate between elite imports and just imports in that format. Presently it is tilted to the communities that have elite (ex WHL, CIS, NHL) players.
That being said it’s always been this way. I struggle with reinventing the wheel rather than just understanding that it’s all cyclical. Watrous won A like 3 years ago and they didn’t even enter this year. Ebbs and flow people!

Sam Klassen, Woody Klassen, Pat Ullyott, Craig Mcallum (non-import), Trent Campbell (non-import) all pack it in the same year... that will sting. but thats the way senior hockey goes... Lanigan had a stacked team in 2005 when they won A, and about 8 guys retired after that season. Same with Leroy back when as well, bunch of old guys go out the top and supporting cast isn't the same level of talent or even close.

A team like Dinsmore has a lot of elite talent but they are all “locals” (within 120 kms). You would have to reduce this locals exemption down to 60 kms but then you have places unable to have enough players to make a team. Can’t fault an area for having a lot of “elite” talent in a relatively small area.

It’s not getting mad at teams like dinsmore that have good local talent or close proximity. But having more even provincial brackets. Teams like Kenaston and dinsmore would be competitive in A. Changing the format isn’t to screw over a good team it’s to make the divisions more competitive based off of elites and similar team strength

'Loaded with ex whl players'? Who all is that? DaSilva. Connor, who was there to chuck knuckles. I know they have a few local boys who played SJ but just curious who I'm missing? Dasilva and Connor, Josh Urich, Brayden Urich (cup of coffee). For any team under A to have this many is loaded. Short of Kenaston who has that many players who played in the WHL in B, C and D? Plus they have 2 others who played College/University in Thompson and Erlandson. That doesn't even count the other Jr players that you mentioned. Thomson & Erlandson aren’t on the prov roster.
