There is kind of a vague area in the tie-break rules. The first way to break the tie is by the record of wins/losses during head to head match-ups of the tied teams which was 1 win a piece. However, BH won in regulation and Kinistino won in overtime so technically BH got 1 more point in the head to head matchups which might put them ahead of Kinistino. I don't see any mention of a point system in the head to head wins and losses rule though? Maybe somebody can clarify this?

I looked at the rules in the constitution and I think Kinistino finishes first because they have 11 wins. The overtime point that BH received cannot be used to break the tie in the standings. That's if I read that right....

That's if I read that right.... You are correct I guess the league doesn’t know how to solve Their tie breaker. Musta flipped a coin and now we play Kinistino

Strange putting Birch Hills ahead… isn’t it the case in every league that 1st tie-breaker is wins?

Strange putting Birch Hills ahead… isn’t it the case in every league that 1st tie-breaker is wins? Yes so the tie breaker says the first step is you take the Best WIN record between the 2 teams which they each had 1 win against each other (loss’s, OT losses don’t matter as for If that was the case it would be “best head to head record total points”. So the way the league words the rule it’s a tie. you then move to which team has more wins in the season which Kinistino had (11), birch hills had (10) which should split the tie break and have Kinistino finishing 1st place. Not sure what happened there

My source's tell me the league took it to SHA. Don't know what made them feel the need to do that in this situation.

Tigers better pick up the pace on Friday. Allan comes to play in the playoffs every year. Hopefully BH has a better game tonight but won't be shocked if they lose to Hanley.

I'd be surprised if he even played 4.
