I find it humorous that people, with obviously no part in the decision making process, like to say "if I were in charge we would never pay that much for any player". Well that may or may not be true but, and this is a bigger butt than Kim Kardashian, you would be amazed at how much your tolerance for spending would increase when you have nothing but losing teams and an empty barn.  |

I find it humorous that people, with obviously no part in the decision making process, like to say "if I were in charge we would never pay that much for any player". Well that may or may not be true but, and this is a bigger butt than Kim Kardashian, you would be amazed at how much your tolerance for spending would increase when you have nothing but losing teams and an empty barn. Absolutely. I also think if you have a community supporting your team enough that it's possible for you to spend more and still survive, I think you owe it to the community to put the best product possible on the ice. |

Kindersley has the stephensons, kylar hope, Layne young, and a way better goalie then last year in Travis child. But like you said they beat themselves when push comes to shove.
This series in my personal opinion could be the A final

Kindersley has the stephensons, kylar hope, Layne young, and a way better goalie then last year in Travis child. But like you said they beat themselves when push comes to shove. This series in my personal opinion could be the A final I believe Drake also has Dea and Calladine from Foam Lake and they also have 1 guy from Lanigan but I can’t remember which one Daelick maybe? |

Its not like Senior hockey clubs can go and get a big line of credit. Its def. a slippery slope, the LLHL is a great example of that... teams are paying more and more each year to keep up with the other teams that are spending more and more each year. Drake loses out 1 round of playoffs, and if they don't get past kindersley thats a huge hit... those later rounds are where you make your money for the next year. Wynyard is down in their series to Wadena in playoffs, same with Leroy. they don't make deep runs i'm sure that could impact plans for the following year. |

This is a fair point, but are you telling me Wadena and Davidson aren't paying out the big bucks either? Lots of hockey to be played yet, one game out of a 5 game series is far from over either way. |
