Mcveigh will be top 5 senior hockey players in the province for the next few years at least. With the addition of Stadnyk I would imagine the Blizz flu will be worse than any strain of covid we have seen. Was Kenaston missing players tonight? I heard Kyle only had about 12 skaters. Ended up being a come from behind win for Kenaston.

No Stadnyk for Kenaston. The Blizzards looked rusty but still carried the play. Must have had 55 shots.

What's with scheduling regular season games into Feb? November to January gives you 14 weeks to play 18 games - shouldn't be a challenge getting the season wrapped up by last Sunday of January.
The LLHL wraps up last weekend in January. It might be the one thing they actually do right.

Last year the SVHL playoffs were over 2 weeks before the LLHL. Every year is different. If I was scheduling I’d want to be done reg season as early as possible.

Well with Loreburn beating rosetown tonight, I assume the SVHL standings will finish like this.
1. Kyle 2. Kenaston 3. Dinsmore 4. Loreburn 5. Eston 6. Delisle 7. Central Butte 8. Outlook
Best guess of the series would be
Kyle Vs Outlook Kenaston Vs Delisle Dinsmore Vs Central Butte Loreburn Vs Eston

Based on GF/GA in heads up matches that looks like the correct standings.
Any upsets in the making?

Ya that could maybe be right. I was just going on the gf/ga in the 2 Kenaston Kyle games. Not sure how they decide exactly.

How it is determined in Hockey Sask handbook
Two Teams Tied If two teams are tied: i) Best win record in games played between tied teams. ii) If still tied, the team with the best win record. ii) lf the two teams are still tied after i) and il) have been applied, then the team with the best goal average gains the higher position. The goal average of a team is to be determined in the following manner Total number of goals for divided by the total number of goals for and against. NOTE: All games are included VOTE: A maximum of seven (7) goal difference per game will be used in the calculation of the game ratio. This will be calculated from the actual "goals for" of the losing team in the particular game.

Sask Valley tie breaker for Keneston a Kyle is head to head, then the if still tied, head to head goal differential. Kyle will be first pending a win against lucky Lake this weekend because the goal differential is 11-9 for Kyle against Keneston

Obviously you couldn't read the last post cause they don't go by goals scored in the games.

I believe all leagues go by the Hockey Sask tie-breaker Hockeyguy posted above. I don't think either Kenaston or Kyle have been bestowed the power to make up their own rules, yet.
