Because their league is smaller and has had years with even less teams. It's also only 15 minutes away from Davidson. Craik currently drives by almost all those towns to play in the league they do. I just think it's a really bad look for any league to deny any team. There will become a time when leagues are desperate for teams. For what's its worth I think it's even worse the LLHL said no. why is LLHL saying no any different than svhl?

I count 10 in SVHL. Last year LLHL had 6. It seems they are always fluctuating. Won't be surprised if they are back to that number in a year or two. The SVHL has been stable for a long time but things can change fast. I’m disappointed Craik didn’t get in but not surprised. Loreburn and Butte voting no sunk the Warriors. When two of the closest teams geographically don’t support you, you’re screwed. For me the rink isn’t a deal breaker. I guess it was for a couple teams. Kinda weak if that’s the case. Craik does need to own the fact their rink is to blame as well as their poor reputation for getting involved in on ice shit. Until the Delisle/Rosetown blow up last year it had been a long time since anything really stupid happened in the SVHL(and that was mostly due to one idiot). Craik gets into those every year. It’s not that teams are scared, just why would invite that into your league. Still think they should have been let in. Put them on probation. Pretty simple. They behave or they’re gone next year.

So what I'm hearing is that teams are scared of the rink. No wonder everyone thinks this generation is a bunch of pussies!

That’s not what I said, nor what anyone else did. Talk like that “bunch of pussies” garbage is maybe one of the reasons Craik gets a bad rap. Wonder if Craik came into the meetings with the wrong vibe? Knowing their management I would think that was not the case.

Why does Craik try heading south to the QVHHL? close drive to Regina and surrounding teams. Love that small town guys are proud of their small town barn, however, the Pillar Death Dome is different. Embarrassing small town barn. Usually a good team, no doubt about that. If either league had 3-5 teams I am sure they would want Craik, but each having 8 as it stands - Craik offers nothing but shenanigans and potential injury for any team or league.

Hit the nail right on the head, any team joining a new league is on probation, if they cause grief then they're gone. The rink shouldn't be a deal breaker either considering they play in loreburn willingly.

Delisle got a goalie. Upset Butte in night 1.
Delisle's only wins last year were vs Rosetown & Lucky Lake.

Is Jesse Mychan the top player in the league this year?

McVeigh Mychan Stadnyk should be top 3. The exact order, I guess time will tell.

Mcveigh will be top 5 senior hockey players in the province for the next few years at least. With the addition of Stadnyk I would imagine the Blizz flu will be worse than any strain of covid we have seen.
