Now that playoffs are locked in (Unless Waldheim beats shellbrook by ten goals) let’s get some predictions going for the first round as well as the awards for the regular season.
I’ll start:
Birch hills vs clavet - BH in a sweep. Should be easy series, unless somehow Thorimbert shuts them out which could happen I suppose.
Rosthern vs Allan - wheat kings in a sweep. Think they will be close
Games but Rosthern is too strong.
Shellbrook vs Dalmeny - underrated series. 2-1 silver tips. I see this being a very close series that could go either ways. Shellbrooks scoring comes out on top if they get everyone out to games.
Waldheim vs Warman - another tight series. Warman wins 2-1. I think their depth is a lot better than waldheims.
Awards:
MVP- tough to give it to anyone other than Smith. Potentially Kushniruk in Birch Hills.
Rookie- Helm from Shellbrook.
Top goalie- Kushniruk. Although plenty of good goalies deserving. Thiessen, Martin or thorimbert
