Kendrew Friesen would be another good option for rookie of the year. Helm is no slouch either. Him and Smith were better short handed than even strength some games. Schmidt is by far the best dman.

Well, we know what team you root for. I will say though Schmidt does 100% deserve best dman this year. And Thiessen has been a top 3 goalie in the league the last couple of years (minus the corona year).

Rosthern over Allan 2-1 good game Allan. Stepped up their game more so than the usual “top” team playing down to their level.

Surprised by that, was everyone there for BH? missing 2/3 of their top line and some injuries from provincials. But that’s the effect thorimbert can have, 40 some saves and the best player on the ice by a long shot

Heard 4-3 for warman over Waldheim? Warman couldn’t get ice or did the warman coach lose a bet to have all 3 games in Waldheim?

I see things changing for that team in the future.

It's unfortunate that Warman can't get ice time in Warman. I see things changing for that team in the future. Warman must be the biggest centre with a senior team in the province no? I imagine they have a pretty big minor hockey program plus lots of over flow from the city as well. It’s too bad minor hockey makes them take a back seat to them instead of working together. North Battleford/Battleford have 2 teams in the SPHL. The team out of North Battleford goes by Meota, but only a couple guys are actually from there, they are a North Battleford team.

Games they normally get a few options to play, regular season I think they can normally get a couple extras. Playoffs it's hit and miss. They can always find at least enough ice time, but if teams played provincials and stuff, it would make it harder, but this league normally just a handful of players play on provincial teams. I know Meota has had to find ice in other towns as well in the past, or play at the Don Ross if Civic Center is tied up for long periods of time, like a curling event or something. But other wise BMHA is pretty good about shuffling practices or games around so they can play Friday or Saturday nights.

4-2 Rosthern over Allan. Allan was up 1-0 going into the third then Rosthern decided to show up I guess
