Come on, that’s just smart hockey if you ask me. It sucks, but happens all the time. Tori in particular has a reputation for being easily goated into retaliation penalties. Everyone knows he’s Davidson top guy. Why wouldn’t you try a fight him early. Yeah it’s smart, but it didn’t work. Davidson has a lot of depth. I’d say more than Redvers. Also missing Ward & Sagen for game 2 and they had to drop 4 guys off their league roster for provs without picking anyone up. Redvers picked up a line from Carlyle and still couldn’t win. Redvers Defence was really good though. Missing Sagen makes Davidson a stronger team. He’s a 3rd liner at best, probably a 4th liner. I’ll bet he doesn’t get a single point in your provincial run and he sure as hell isn’t helping on the defensive side. |
