Missed calls on both sides. Redver dman high sticked behind net missed,blatant hooked pulled davidson player offside on a powerplay rush which would have put them on 5 on 3. Redver bench was as vocal as they come. Very suprised they didnt get a unsportsmanlike. Redvers was the better team on the ice, Davidson had the better goalie. Mcnabb made a couple highlight saves!

Officiating is what it is . Your going to get ed over some times and get favourable calls other times . It’s part of the game deal with it . We can say bad reffing in both games, but Redvers did it to themselves. Their game plan was to take out the Allan’s from the get go, and that back fired on them. Should have just played hockey in my opinion. McNabb was great in both games. He stole game 2. |

Redvers has a very good team. The window for winning is closing. Until they decide to dump their two local goalies for a good quality goalie who can steal a game they will never win. By the looks of the scores goaltending was not an issue on Redvers side but it would be an issue moving forward if they would have advanced.

Davidson has very good top end talent. Redvers had a lot more depth and a way better back end. Davidson goalie won the series however. Shots were 36-16 in game 2 for redvers as they dominated most of the game other than when they were short handed for the final 5 out of 6 mins of the hockey game. Refs couldn’t let the guys play it out and decide how it ended. They clearly wanted to be the ones who decided how it ended and Loved the spot light being on them.

What the hell are we talking about here? Take out the Allen’??… this isn’t Slapshot. The Rockets don’t have the Hanson brothers out there wheeling around throwing elbow taking people out. That’s a very good hockey club. And for Rockets goaltending Mattewson & Bauche are solid. I don’t think it would of been a problem going forward. I was at Moosomin vs Wynard game 3 last night…. Not like those teams are absolute waygons. Bud Holloway is ridiculous but that’s one guy. So I don’t understand the goalie problem moving forward analysis .

Come on, that’s just smart hockey if you ask me. It sucks, but happens all the time. Tori in particular has a reputation for being easily goated into retaliation penalties. Everyone knows he’s Davidson top guy. Why wouldn’t you try a fight him early.

Also missing Ward & Sagen for game 2 and they had to drop 4 guys off their league roster for provs without picking anyone up. Redvers picked up a line from Carlyle and still couldn’t win. Redvers Defence was really good though. |

I totally agree redvers was hard working up front but they were lacking some pure goal scorers. Their defence is very good honestly might be up there as the deepest d core in sask. Their D sets them apart in their league. Most teams in the big 6 have one or two good d, not 6 of them like redvers does.

Still think spending money on a western league goalie would allow them to steal a game when their offence disappears. Next year with the millers offence will not be a problem.

Gotta be frustrating for the players cause they had a great shot at winning it all with those guys on the ice this year. Each to their own of course but theres many players who reluctantly did what they had to in order to get on the ice this year. |
