I been loking at the big six rosters the Carlyle cougars certainly have the most fire power and Mayb the best goal tending but there defence is going to b a problem if they don’t add a couple D men. Moosomin Has lots of fire power but that team is not going to gel too many heroes And not good enough goal tending. Redvers got fire power also Again they don’t have the goaltending the top three teams for sure. Carlyle number one Redvers number two Moosomin number three. That’s the way it will end up

I wouldn’t argue that Carlyle doesn't have some firepower, but they certainly aren’t Redvers or Moosomin in that category. And I don’t think Moosomin will be having gelling issues either. They have two first lines in my opinion, their second line should be just as dangerous as their first. 1A and 1B if you will. First powerplay has all of their best forwards on it and they seemed to be snapping it around pretty nicely in that first game. So I really can’t see the “too many egos in the room” be a factor for them.

Carlyle has a lot better team than they had last year by far three very good lines And a better then average 4 th line. Very good goaltending. Yes there defence needs a boost but it’s not bad

Zzzzzzz. Here we go again talking about Carlyle when they haven’t played one real game yet. They will bow out second round of playoffs just like they did last year. Already pissing people off too. Their committed goalie of 8 years Audet quit on them due to their BS

Team will look different before the deadline. They will have probably a couple guys quit, find some other guys to come get paid for the season that will end up not coming back next year, will probably have two or three different goalies added/removed from the roster (other than Meger) They will be good but can’t keep a steady group of guys coming to the rink year to year. I’ve always wondered why that is… 🤔

There’s always someone holding out for top dollar trust me it’s early in the yr and money talks I doubt it. They’ve definitely been looking all summer for dmen (and if they haven’t I’m not sure why) so if there was a guy out there that was willing to come they would’ve found him. Only chance they have is finding someone who used to be good but is now washed up, and yes they will pay him way too much money on top of that just so their roster looks better but in the long run will just end up hurting them.

Carlyle has a lot better team than they had last year by far three very good lines And a better then average 4 th line. Very good goaltending. Yes there defence needs a boost but it’s not bad it’s easy to have a team on paper. Getting them all to the rink at the same time is the hardest part. Lots of teams look good on the website the only rosters that matter are the ones on the game sheet.

That’s the way it will end up All this talk about the cougars every year, it’s almost repetitive at this point. Outcome doesn’t change, they finish top 3 and don’t make it past the second round. Team is still full of all the same selfish players and may have one of the most toxic rooms and benches in the game, I have never seen a team that yells and fights with each other on the bench so often. Yes they added a goaltending, but I wouldn’t say bringing in a guy who played senior hockey over seas is an upgrade. They have a guy who is never around attempting to run this team from down south who personally believes he is running a pro hockey team and the coach can barely run a car dealership let alone a bench. Dressing room explodes halfway through the season and this team doesn’t make it past the second round in playoffs or provincials.
