If Kenaston could’ve got a rink in Saskatoon they would have that’s how local they are.

If Kenaston could’ve got a rink in Saskatoon they would have that’s how local they are. It is the largest centre.. should they all try to get jobs at the local coop? Would that feel better?

What thread are you following? No one is toting a horn about being a local team. There are no teams in A that don’t rely on imports and non imports. People whined about Kenaston not going A, now you’re complains about the makeup of their team when they pick up three players total? The last three A winners were from the smallest towns entering A. Dulle is from a town 30 miles away and played there in 2012, hanging a D banner that year. So much jealousy on here. Absolutely correct. And congratulations to Kenaston First off I said your the best team in Saskatchewan, so just take that. But if you don’t think you guys have been tooting your own horns on here regularly, and you’re not claiming your locals with very little adjustments, just spend some time and read almost every thread. You guys deserve to be proud about your accomplishments, but a little humility and honesty would go a long way.

Where is the same outrage when the LLHL fanboys brag about how good their league is around provincial time vs other leagues? The same bunch demanded that Kenaston should man up and go A...they did and won SHA A. Now you manufacture some made up narrative Kenaston is tooting their own horns...just stop already.

You repeatedly claimed they were the best team in SK the last two years. How many locals actually on this roster vs last year’s? This year, no question the best though.

No matter what, winning provincials and playoffs in three consecutive years is an absolute accomplishment!

Bembridge is hardly a local. Debatable that he shouldn’t be classified as import. And Your line 4 guys don’t even see ice on a blow out let alone provincials . Line 1 and 2 need there points. But I suppose no one gets imports for line 3 let alone 4. If any of your guys played there minor sports in Kenaston or live there now. I consider them locals.

But yes a very remarkable achievement never the less. I don’t hate. You rightfully deserve the title as best team in Saskatchewan. Regardless of how many locals you have or play.

Listen to Monday nooner- Bembridge plays there with his first cousins, mcviegh, jewell, asbjornhus... Yes he moved away from his hometown, I did the same and would still consider myself local to it… Asbjorhnus and jewell and mcviegh are not fourth line locals either.. neither is e. Zdunich. Also both coaches are local too. As stated earlier, why would they play with another team- they have local ties and feel a sense of community.
