If Kindersley had a healthy lineup they are probably hanging a banner here. Definitely Kenaston's toughest test while missing 4 top players

Dulle was a great pick up from Craik for Kenaston. Much like picking up Norrish from Loreburn was. Difference being loreburn didn’t enter that year. But it’s not like Dulle would have been enough for Craik to beat Redvers. Congrats to Kenaston all the same.

Every year, Kenaston seems to implode at least 1 game throughout a provincial run. In 2022, it was against Macklin and Craik. In 2023, it was Langenburg. This year, it was Kindersley. The list, from toughest to weakest, goes as follows: Lumsden, Lanigan, Kindersley, Watrous. But if you guys need to tell yourselves that you were the toughest test, go right ahead.

I want to hear from the Kenaston guys. In the past three years who do they think was the toughest competition in provincials. Any division from any of the runs.

Cable's laser wrist shot in the last minute no senior goalie stops that.

Their A run knocking off 2-LLHL, 1-SWHL and 1-QVHHL teams is pretty damn impressive given the step up in playing squads who tend to load up vs D category which Kenaston traditionally entered...knocking off Lanigan, Kindersley, Watrous and Lumsden is the cherry on top of their dynasty run of 3 SHA titles in a row. From watching + results...one can make the arguement SHA D title run 2021-22 was their toughest run. Two 3 game series vs Macklin and Craik + 6-4 and 5-2 wins vs a good Edam squad. Once Kenaston knocked off Davidson, Dinsmore being upset by PP and Langenburg's disrespect game 2 vs Kenaston bringing a short squad...Kenaston's C run was all but sealed.

If the refs could actually count lumsdens goals this would be a different game Were you even watching the game??? How dumb are you Lumsden just can’t run with da blizz. Simple as that get a life.

Biggest thing with A was the depth of Lumsden and the goaltending for Lanigan and Kindo. Shields and Dracket were so good. The best teams I've seen were Lumsden, Davidson ('23) and Redvers ('23)

Gotta give a shout out to Tyler Peterson. If he doesn’t stop Dufore on those breakaways, 2 in the 1st period of gm 1, 1 in the 1st in gm 2, not to mention a huge glove save in the same sequence, those games could have been very different. To have a young goalie come onto a team that isn’t just expecting to compete, but to win, and step up when his team breaks down, is something else. He played awesome.

He was hung out to dry a couple times and made the stops he needed to. 33 goals allowed in 10 games. With their firepower that’s a good recipe. Gotta give Kenaston credit for winning games of every type. Had three games where they gave up 0,1, and 1 goals. They’ll throw a stinker out from time to time but they obviously can get it done when they need to.
