Birch hills blows it in game one allowing a goal with 5 minutes left for the tie and 6 seconds for Rosthern to win in OT, but they answer back in game two with a big 7-2 win. I am not a birch hills fan at all, quite the opposite actually. But it’s looking like this series will be closer then everyone thought.

Birch Hills has been to the finals the last 4 years, and if not for Covid would have won 2/3 not including whatever happens this year. Beat the wheatkings in regular season and blew a lead in game 1, dominated last night and the wheatkings got stupid and will be missing players due to suspensions

regular season doesn't count and wow Rosthern lost one game. They have the best forward in the league in 61 hes going to be force for the rest of the series... oh wait shit. They do have best defence, only thing getting in there way is that darn first pass. Annnd they have the best goalie... unless the shots on net, he rebound control is so good just drops them out there 3 feet in front every time. Plus, zoltok is a beast, guy isn't scared of anything out there, just footsteps and shadows. Such a powerforward.

Who did he hit I didn’t catch either of the first two games but someone I know did. I trust his report. The cross check was to the face of #52 on BHills. I was told the game is Rosthern was a much tighter back and forth game but by the sounds of it Birch outplayed the Wheatkings Sunday and Smith decided that the only way to make an impact was to cross check a guy in the face. Must have picked that move up from Willow last series. |
