Monday nooner boys with "boots on the ground" see what kind of excuses they make for this "AHL team lumsden", it's only a matter of time before you have to give the bears the flowers they deserve after they beat Balcarres game 1 they were stroking lumsden off and Balcarres almost beat them. Good on round lake for pounding those plugs. With the amount of pickups lumsden has they should steamroll any team Plugs? You sure were singing a different tune about Lumsden a few pages back “Bal”.

Game 1 - March 10 6:45pm Lumsden Game 2 - March 16 7:00pm Ochap Game 3 - March 17 6:45pm Lumsden *if needed lumsden sweeps in 2 games and it’s not really close lmao. Lumsden too fast and too deep for round lake to keep up I guess Round Lake proved themselves tonight. Lumsden wasn’t winning once this game.

Lumsden was soft tonight. But the refs were almost more soft. How can Lumsden play that soft and be short handed twice as much? The 4th goal happens following a lumsden breakaway, and the Lumsden player was slashed and hooked the whole way down the ice (arguably could have been a penalty shot but for sure 2 min), then RL comes back down to score. It is commonly known that RL is playing that 90s style clutch and grab type of game, along with sucker punching guys, but why are we letting this style of hockey go when it no longer exists!? These refs need to manage these games and force RL to adjust to the new day and age of hockey. They can’t keep getting away with these plays as it was seen tonight that it is costing other teams. The 6th goal was 2 feet offside. Linesmen were in the way of both teams on zone entries often and it took a lot of flow away from the game. RL was the better team, but these plays and calls make a difference in this game. Refs need to adjust.

No Pats game tonight Sask Hockey should have had a Western League officiating crew or atleast 2 refs to headman.

This was a great game. Bears were the better team but it could have easily gone either way. Bears kept up to the speed quite well tonight. Nothing too out of control tonight. Fairly physical but nothing out of hand.

Fairly physical but nothing out of hand. They could not skate with Lumsden and it was evident. Mirasty cannot skate with Heywood, but they all trailered on to lumsden with their hooks, the refs need to control this as RL is being catered to heavily

Not Lumsden, not anyone can keep up to the physical intimidation game of the Bears. People have too much pride to admit it, but there is no young import on any team in senior A that is prepared or willing to play 60 minutes of old school hockey vs the Kings Mirasty or any of the Bears.
This team is similar to the Broad Street Bullies. Exciting to watch for sure, time for people to get on the bandwagon and enjoy the ride.
From Small town Sask….. GO BEARS GO

That game was good. Just admit round lake is good. Not hard guy.

Round Lake looked rusty. Could not complete a pass to break out of their zone, troubles clearing off the boards and out of their zone. Neutral zone passes were missing their targets, weren’t able to set up often in the offensive zone.
Lumsden looked crispy when moving the puck. That was until the puck went into the corners or along the boards. Lots of Lumsdens players were scared. Lumsden controlled the offensive zone much better than Round Lake.
The difference was that Round Lake never quit. They play hard all game. I swear I could see some of Lumsdens players pooping themselves in after whistle scrums. Lumsden will have to play as tough as Round Lake to even this series up.

Honestly, RL played the intimidation card but never really crossed any lines. Monarchs can win this series using quick efficient passing. As long as they know RL is looking for a hit as soon as a Monarchs player touches the puck they have a chance.

Nolan Reid could probably hang up the butter knives and start doing tik toks for round lake, wouldn’t have to skate around with poopy pants atleast that way. Not looking like he wants to ‘drink beer after winning a provincial A championship too badly’
