With kelvington and if carrot gets a team it’s gonna slowly be the end of this league. It will be a glorified rec league with teams being super thin. There just isn’t enough players to Ice this many teams in the area with the trouble of getting guys to play from the cities with how far they are Agreed. Porcupine will lose guys to kelvington, hbay and porcupine will also lose guys to carrot river. Fortier might end up going carrot river. It will definitely spread teams out more but the provincials could be well off as the teams are all within a close enough radius. |

The majority of elite players do not want to play in this league because they can get paid good money elsewhere where they might not have to travel as much. The good players that do live in the area are either playing on a team already or they don’t have the desire to play. With less local U18 players being able to make the jump to senior, it’s difficult to field a team because you’re constantly looking for players from out of town. |

How many elite imports and non elite imports are allowed in this league. And What are those categories defined as 6 imports, and 5 “non-elite” imports. Those non-elites are defined as AA midget and/or Junior B as the highest level of hockey played. Goalies don’t count as imports |
