Can someone explain to me why Matvenko from Tford only gets one game for a 5 min crosscheck in last ten minutes. Should have one game for 5 min major and an extra for game misconduct in last ten. Jan.13 Brandon Ross did same thing and got two games. Check rule in the SHA handbook???

i thought sha had min suspension amount and leagues have to follow it or exceed it...so yup he should get 2 games

There are more then one questionable suspension this year in this league that do not meet hockey sask minimums. Someone needs to send them in to hockeysask and get the guy who hands out suspensions in this league removed from that job

I’m a ref but a simple google search of the handbook would tell you that also. I assume Meota or someone will say something and get it changed. |

Hockey Sask was contacted and it is only a 1 game sussy. Meota guys need to quit crying and play the f#$king game, it's not like we re talking about Austin Mcdonald or another impact player . well in one part of handbook it says major etc is a one gamer --but in the suspension handbook the example it showed says no to 1 game suspension....

The hockey Canada guide says 2 game suspension and everyone else in the league this year with that same penalty got a 2 game suspension so why is this situation different? Is it because it’s against Meota…

It is a one game suspension automaticall for the 5 min major any time in the game. What your not getting is you get an extra game if it happens in the last 10 min.Total 2 games no doubt. If Sha was actually contacted they would of told you the same thing.

Matvenko got one game. Miller should have 3 games for his gross misconduct. Two for the gross and one game for game misconduct in last ten. Not sure why the league cannot get this right??? Makes no sense to me??
