Moosomin will fold up like a cheap tent when this series gets physical and will proceed to blame their loss on the refs like they always do.

Heard tonight that both Holloway’s back as Brayden knee if finally mobile from Redvers series last season and he received medical consult that after near 11 months it’s stable and fluid of knee. Buds elbow has stitches and mobility issues.
McGonigal working up north at lumber plant and smooth skating Schwean is feeling better and near game time decision.

A brief recap of last nite's game in Carlyle. The Cougars were licking their chops as Moosomin did not dress Bud Holloway (back), Jevon Schwean (undisclosed) and Devin McGonigal (work) The only regular to not dress for Carlyle was Nathan Deck (undisclosed). Kovalenko hasn't played for weeks and remains injured.
After Jesse Gabrielle opened the scoring early on with a wrister from the high slot, Nabholz responded minutes later. 1-1 after one with Carlyle unable to score twice on the p.p. Moosomin came out flying in the second and dominated play. 3-1 after two despite Moosomin not scoring on three straight p.p. opportunities. The Rangers scored early in the third and trailing 4-1, the Cougars made their comeback bid scoring twice. They were down 4-3 with over 12 remaining but couldn't score another. Rangers scored an empty netter making the final 5-3.
Ranger forwards Nabholz (2) and Ryker Cole (hat trick) played great as did Brock Trotter (2 apples) and Josh Elmes (30 plus minutes) on the blue line. Carlyle had consistent zone pressure but couldn't get enough of those close in scoring opportunities. Trotter and Sawchuk played on separate lines. Beckett and Talon King both played great in net. Jonny Gaudet and Josh Romanyk had strong games for the Cougars. Final shots on goal 47-38 Rangers.
Gabrielle didn't help the Cougars when he was assessed a 10 minute misconduct at the end of the second. He was slapped with another 10 either then or at the start of the third and was knocked out of the game. Referee complaining by #61 for one of the first times this season. Referees were believed to be out of Regina.
Attendance was disappointing at around 400/450 tops. Another 8:30 start due to a minor hockey game. Pot of gold $1,100.00. Carlyle is now definitely an underdog in this series. Carnduff lost again 5-2 to Redvers in game two and are on life support trailing 2-0 in their best of five.

Question, isn’t 400-450 pretty good for a Thursday night game? I know Moosomin is a big Town but I’ve seen Prov games on weekends that are around that number. What is the normal attendance like?

Hey Gunit,
That game was in Carlyle not moosomin. The big 6 attendance in playoffs is usually ridiculous especially once you get to the final 4. Carlyle redvers Carnduff and moosomin.
