Can confirm this was a good game. In my opinion lumsden first 2 goalls they got lucky breaks, but that’s hockey. For Balcarres you can’t win a hockey game scoring 1 goal. Balcarres needs to cut the penalty’s and also score more

what call was actually that bad? Balcarres took some pretty obvious call when it mattered. bernhardt hits a guy and he trips over the over players leg and that’s boarding? Not to mention lumsden play Falling pretty easily that play before bernhardts penalty’s, what was the penalty ratio? Not tryna be a dick but generally wanna know Hahaha... Trips over his leg??? He got hit hard (almost from behind) into the boards... the player didn't trip over anybody... And the play before, I think it was Milligan put a dirty slew foot on the Lumsden player, I don't care what anyone says that's one of the most chickenshit plays in hockey... I honestly thought the refs did a good job of letting them play considering what they could have called, both ways, lots of good flow to the game. Eskra and Platt deserved a couple each I feel. Balcarres did a really good job of slowing down Lumsden speed and keeping the to the outside for the most part. Hodson was outstanding AGAIN. And I believe penalties were pretty close... 5-4 against Balcarres if i remember right |

Lumsden outplayed Balcarres in the first period but from their on out Balcarres outplayed lumsden the second, third and overtime.

Looks like Lumsden's plan to insulate themselves from having a goalie hurt, or gone, helped them tonight as I'm hearing Macauley isn't there tonight. For anyone that didn't know they signed 3 capable tenders for Prov.
