Rumour has it that Wadena had everyone available this weekend other than Edler and Hobbins and both will be gone for another week so can’t see that being the issue. Also heard that Watrous was fine with cancelling. I live in Watrous and have pretty good intel in this

May as well play it safe, Edler won’t be at the game regardless. Now hearing Watrous might want a neutral site game because of the cancellations. Not sure if that will happen. But at the end of the day the right call was to cancel the games to avoid people being on the roads if they are as bad as people are saying. I will be driving to the game when it is and am glad it’ll be on a better weather night |

Wadena is a joke. I have no horse in this race, but for some reason Joey Leach thinks that he deserves special treatment. Congrats on a great hockey career, but news flash, you're just one of us now. Hearing rumblings that Joey made the call to cancel the games this weekend all by himself and that Wadena's city guys wanted to play. Apparently there is screenshots of certain group chat circulating around. Will be interesting to see if it makes it's way to SHA. But great job Joey, now you've been rewarded with a 9:00pm Tuesday game. No one wins with that. If rumours are true that Watrous is going Tuesday with no goalie and 9 skaters, it will be quite hilarious that the game was played that late. Wonder what kind of gate will be there, maybe just enough to fill Joey's pockets. 50/50 winner should get just enough to cover the late night fee for a babysitter. Never thought I'd be saying this, but Go Chickenhawks Go!
