Carlyle not starting Levesque game 3 was a big shocker imo I didn't see king allow a weak goal all series. Audet and Pateman are good for at least two or three weak goals a game. You aren't going to win many games scoring one goal in two games. Levesque is too slow. King at least gave them a chance and did win them game one with a big game from Gabrielle.

Krahn was the difference in this series. Plus Tyler Fiddler line of King & Yellowhorn. Your best players have to be the best players & they were game 2 & 3 for RLBs

A quick game recap for everyone and believe it or not the game was closer than the score indicated. After a mid first period goal by Sterling Bear, with three to play Jesse Gabrielle had a 90 foot breakaway and was stoned by goaltender Matt Krahn. 1-0 after one with shots 16-9 in favor of the Cougars. Score should have been 2 or 3 to 1 Carlyle. Disaster struck the home team early in the second with Yellowhorn scoring seconds in and Nathan Murray a couple of minutes later. Down 3-0 zip the Cougars applied pressure but a shorty by Tyler Fiddler made it 4-0 after two. Gabrielle got the Cougars on the board early in the third but another shorty by Conrad McKay sealed the deal. Final score after a late goal 6-1 with shots ending up even at 35. Krahn played great and was definitely the game star. To hold the offensive laden Cougars to 1 goal in 120 minutes is amazing, Fiddler played great as did Conrad McKay coming off a multi-game suspension. The Cougars played much better than Saturday but it still wasn't enough. There was some big hitting in this game and a couple of tilts. Late in the second, Dylan Kelly decided to give the team a spark by inviting Braeden Boschman to a dance. Not much happened as Boschman slipped and Kelly got in a couple and ended up on top. With 8 to play Von Sproken and Sterling Bear got into a scrap with Von Sproken the winner. Bear will have to sit out the first game against Lumsden. Crowd was disappointing at around 600 but in fairness Carlyle and the Southeast received a foot of snow yesterday afternoon. Pot of gold was slightly over $5K and won by a Round Lake fan. Kudos to Round Lake, they have some talented players. Kudos also go out to Carlyle in fielding a competitive team for A division play. There are a lot of great teams in Provincials this season. Sterling Bear didn’t even drop his gloves and got jumped. Would assume SHA will investigate that. When you’re down 6-1 and taking cheap shots once you’re out it’s pretty easy to review Well, you could investigate the spear from #2 RLB player gave at about the 12 minute mark on shawnie’s facebook live feed from the 2nd period as well..

Sterling Bear didn’t even drop his gloves and got jumped. Would assume SHA will investigate that. When you’re down 6-1 and taking cheap shots once you’re out it’s pretty easy to review Bear was the instigator to the situation then seemed to look like a coward when the gloves went flying. Curious what will happen when round lake sees some real officials around the city, can’t see them getting away with all the bush league stick work for many more games. Refs let this one get away from them in the first period and it showed in the third, complete gongshow coming from both sides to finish the game. Round lake running around like idiots up by 5 is also concerning, what will it look like when the beach boys are up in an elimination game? 75% of these players don’t even play on league teams, would the risk of a suspension even be a concern? Hate to break it to ya but every game this series had Regina area refs. If you had refs from SE or Yorkton this would have been twice as bad. I will say this tho. After game 1 Carlyle complained about the reffing. From the parts I watched last night, Carlyle does themselves no favors. Just as dirty as RL

The refs from last night were from "around the city" the city refs let the teams play a lot more then the south east refs from the hockey I have watched. As a neutral fan watching the game I thought there was nothing wrong with the officiating.

Carlyle not starting Levesque game 3 was a big shocker imo Can agree to this take to a degree, King was alright game one. Game two RLB seemed to figure out that if they just hold onto the puck he will take himself out of position because he plays get too aggressive and they just had tap ins on empty nets well he was sliding into the corners.

Thanks for the game report, can you comment on where Scott Glennie was? Former Top 10 draft pick in the NHL, and his name sure didn’t get mentioned much. Other than not playing game 2.

Lumsden will kill round lake, won’t even be close k are you the new spotter haha your clearly brain dead this series will be good no it will not, lumsden is million times faster than round lake and also have a very good power play. The Balcarres vs lumsden was practically the south final to see who goes into the provincial final
