I have to agree anybody that would put their team in a position for provincials in league playoffs by taking two stupid misconducts is definitely a meathead That goes without saying

It was only 2 misconducts... unless the refs wrote up something else, He wont be suspended.

Gabrielle has great talent but from day 1 has never been able to control himself on the ice or off. Must have been frustrating for his junior coaches. As for wages I’m sure players aren’t paying income tax on their pay. $500 or more for 30 or 40 games a year playing against senior players could look better compared to the effort required to play east coast league Jesse plays with passion any team would be happy to have him.

The game sheet says he got 3 misconducts and 2 at the same time.

Also remember they get room and board in the Pros. That being said “compensation” for senior hockey players is at an all time high and some are making way more than playing in the ECHL or lower. No one in the AHL is making $500 or less.

No one in the AHL is making $500 or less. AHL players do not get room and board. So if you’re playing for 50k a year in an AHL city, your getting 30-35 after tax and then are in the hook for rent, utilities, parking, groceries etc for an 8 month season. Of its 3k a month in expenses there’s all left. Your playing for free ECHL players get crammed 4 players in an apartment and pick up checks for $200 bucks a week. lol.

Sorry to burst anyone’s bubble, there’s no suspension the game misconduct didn’t occur with less than 10 minutes left

If you receive 2 misconducts in the same game, you are automatically assessed a game misconduct. This does not mean a suspension. Gabrielle should be eligible to play any and all games this weekend.

The game sheet says he got 3 misconducts and 2 at the same time. Anyone know what he did to get the misconducts? Second period ended. Moosomin was coming off and he pushed Beckett(Moosomin goalie) as he was skating by. That was the first one. Then he must have lipped off the refs at the start of the third period as he was going to the box. That was the second one and then he was done for the night.

Pretty sure if the 2nd 10 was for abuse of officials it does carry an extra suspension

Pretty sure if the 2nd 10 was for abuse of officials it does carry an extra suspension That’s just me assuming. I can’t see it being anything else, nothing happened at the start of the third. Guess it depends what the refs wrote it down as on the game sheet.
